lives in a mud home with her mom, baby sister, and step dad. They rent the home for $35 a month which they can barely afford. Nicole walks for nearly 2 hours just to get to school.
Due to her condition Klippel-Trenaunay syndrome it makes it difficult for her to walk that distance leaving her absent from the education she so desires.
THIS IS WHAT WE ARE GOING TO DO!
1. Build Nicole and her family a beautiful home (furnished) on our farm where they will never have to pay rent again.
2. Provide Nicole with any medical attention she is in need of. Including compression socks, possible surgeries, medical grade shoes etc..
3. Build a school for the community living on and around our farm.
Why?
We have hundreds of families living in shacks around our farm. Their parents work in the coffee fields where they make VERY little money. Most families have to decide which children they send to school and which have to go to work to give us our Starbucks every day. Imagine having 5 children and it’s $1.50 per child daily just for school transportation not including food and you’re living on a couple hundred bucks a month.
We here at MURPHSLIFE alongside all of YOU are not only creating short videos but building generational change through education now. This school will provide a REAL education, FOOD, backpacks, school supplies.. for thousands of children to come. I have a dream to break the cycle of poverty for as many kids as I can before I leave this earth.
We have not built a school this size yet. It will eventually be for young kids all the way to high school. If we change our goal do not be surprised. If we go over our goal and do everything mentioned above.. funds will be used to support more children receiving an education and making sure Nicole is taken care of so she can fulfill her dream of becoming a doctor some day.
